Founded in 2014 by Shane James, the Canadian Youth Basketball League has grown into Canada's largest and most competitive middle school basketball league and event platform — powered by Under Armour.
From a single idea to Canada's largest middle school league.
CYBL brings top programs together to compete on a high-level stage, and has expanded well beyond core middle school play with CYBL Premier and a dedicated Grades 9–12 league. Beyond the season, the league creates opportunity through showcases, camps, and all-star experiences across the country.
